FLOW
Before placing a commission with Melar Studio, please take a moment to review our Terms of Service (TOS) to understand our policies and workflow. You will also find guidelines on how to prepare a proper brief, ensuring that the commission process for your VTuber model goes smoothly and efficiently

Clients must prepare a clear and detailed brief that matches the service they are commissioning. A brief template is provided below.

If you have difficulties creating your brief, please contact us for assistance.

A 50% deposit of the total price is required before we begin working.

For character design & illustration: we will send you the sketch for approval.

For model rigging: we will send you a demo video showing head angle movement.

Once the sketch or demo is approved, you must pay the remaining 50% for us to continue.

If payment is not completed within 7 days, the order will be canceled and the deposit will not be refunded.

Final files will be delivered via Google Drive, depending on the service:

Character design: a character sheet with full details of the design.

Model illustration (PSD): layered PSD file with clean separations for rigging.

Model rigging: a compressed folder (.zip) containing the model file, settings, textures, expressions, and animations.

About revision:

You will have 7 days (1 week) after delivery to test the files and send feedback.

After this period, revisions may be more difficult and take longer.

Additional requests outside the original scope (e.g., extra expressions, hand poses, toggles) will incur extra charges.

FILE DELIVERY
IMPORTANT NOTES
Credit Melar Studio and artist/rigger name when you use your model.
All services include commercial usage rights for VTuber and VTuber models.
We reserve the right to decline commissions if the request exceeds the capabilities of our artists or riggers.
Progress updates will be provided regularly or according to your preferred schedule.
Please let us know if we are allowed to share WIPs (work-in-progress images/videos) on social media.
If not, inform us of your planned model debut date so we can schedule our promotional posts accordingly.
Rush orders (shorter than our standard working timeline) will require a rush fee.
For revisions, please compile all feedback into one message to ensure an efficient workflow.
For rigging services, riggers may request additional layer separations from the illustrator if necessary.
Strictly prohibited: using our artworks, products, or samples for AI training or any unauthorized purposes.
REFUND POLICY

If you cancel the order after paying the deposit but before work has started, you will receive a 90% refund of the deposit.

Once work has started, payments are non-refundable, unless the error is on Melar Studio’s side.
NOTICESS These terms are in place to ensure fairness and clarity between clients and the Melar Studio team. By commissioning us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
